About Us
Alison
I pursued my education in the UK, earning an AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting. Since 2007, I have been actively engaged in bookkeeping and accounting for various companies, including working in Accountancy Practices.
Although I am originally from the UK, my family and I relocated to Mount Eliza, Australia, in November 2017. I joined an Accountancy firm there and remained with the firm for the entire duration of my visa. Afterwards, I continued to work with the same firm remotely, even while residing in the UK and later in Portugal.
In October 2021, I relocated to Portugal and I primarily work remotely for clients in the UK. Additionally, I serve a company in Hong Kong with multi-currency transactions, show-casing my adaptability and versatility.
I take pleasure in strolling along the Algarvian beach under the warm sunshine, embarking on electric bike adventures across hilly terrain, and cherishing moments with my family. Our cat, Pixie, brings additional joy to our lives with her curtain-climbing antics.

Finlay
I’m a qualified bookkeeper, certified to Level 3 with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) and a proud member of the organisation. I joined Ethos Accounting in May 2025, bringing with me a strong passion for helping businesses stay on top of their finances with clear, accurate, and timely bookkeeping and accounting services.
I’ve always enjoyed working with numbers and helping people make sense of their finances. There’s something really satisfying about bringing order to the chaos and giving business owners confidence in their accounts. I’m also keen to keep learning and plan to continue progressing my qualifications in this field.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me out for a run, at the gym, or relaxing with a good book. I also really value spending time with the people I care about – whether that’s a quiet evening at home or a weekend with family and friends.
